Apollonia Karampatsou

Apollonia is a Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Strategic Communications professional specializing in the travel industry. Currently, she serves as Strategic Initiatives Advisor at CREST and simultaneously holds the position of Group Sustainability & CSR Manager at Mitsis Hotels, Greece’s largest privately-owned hotel chain.

Bringing diverse professional experiences from the travel industry, she has previously worked at the Global Corporate Headquarters of Marriott International (Department of Global Communications and Public Affairs), PUBLIC Hotel, and BMF Media Group in New York City, among others.

Apollonia earned her M.S. in Sustainable Tourism Development from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she graduated with the highest distinction, ranking first in her class. She also holds a B.S. in Hotel & Tourism Management with a minor in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a University Honors Scholar, Founders’ Day Award Recipient and Preston Robert Tisch Merit Scholarship Recipient.

In her current capacity with CREST, Apollonia is delighted to be combining her passions for responsible travel and strategic planning to make a significant impact on the field.
